non race report at cccx

First off my motel room was the smallest room I have ever had. I think some jackass like myself was dude we could totally put a wall up right here and have another room to rent out. put a toilet here right next to this wall so when you piss you have to stand at an angle and if you take a crap you have to grab the toilet paper with your left hand because your right arm can't move since it is stuck against the wall. We could totally do it. Then we'll make it so when you open the door you don't go into your room but you have to do a left hand turn down a couple of stairs and we'll make the space pretty tight. just tight enough where if someone was really fat they can't get into their room. And to top it off lets get one of those daewoo tvs i saw at walgreens. headboard...dude just nail it into the wall.
After checking out my room we went to cannery row area and walked down that. walking kind of sucks because i get bored so quickly. i came up with what i thought was a brilliant idea of getting a wheelchair and having elizabeth push me. she didn't like that idea though. nice place to walk around at least. we then went to get some food which for me was getting a box of donuts and a quart of milk. i couldn't sleep of course so i started watching independence day and eating donuts with milk. ate like half the box or more and almost all the milk. woke up at 6 to the sound of the jets that would fly right over every 15 minutes. felt kind of crappy from the donuts but i ate some more. really really wanted to just stay in bed until 11. so tired and sleepy. we left at 7:45. got to the race which was pretty low key. 2 porta pottys. easiest way to tell how big a race is by how many porta potties they have. elizabeth signed up and i went to ride the course. i was probably 50/50 into racing then. began to ride the course and it was totally fun. super fast. it had some pretty long road sections which was a bit weird but the dirt was pretty much all single track and super hard pack. like cement hard. a couple of sandy spots but nothing too bad at all. a bit bumpy on my bontrager with its 1 inch of suspension and 1.75 tires at 60 psi. but it was so fun on that singletrack. so fast. wish those trails were closer to home. i want to ride it again. anyway. got back and i was planning on signing up while the beginners raced. went over to see elizabeth at the start and the guy said the beginners were going to do 4 laps. 4 laps for beginners? damn that is going to be 20 miles. i went over to a better spot to watch. elizabeth came by in like 14 out of 15 in the granny gear. i told her to get in the middle ring. she said something back. wait for like 30 minutes until she comes around again and i really don't want to cheer because i feel like an idiot so i do some half assed cheer and she told me to go away. so i left and went to her car and grabbed her seat and proceeded to watch people ride by. it isn't too exciting. pretty much just sat in the chair. oh yeah by now i am not into me racing at all. it was nice just hanging out watching people ride though. i wasn't feeling to great after eating the rest of the donuts minus three that i saved for elizabeth.

The so called beginner class aren't beginners at all. There were some beginners but a lot of people who should totally be racing in sport class. it is a series of races and people who got 1st place or 2nd in the first or second race kept signing up as beginners. i guess i need to start riding longer distances because i would have gotten killed in the sport class.

my lunch is over so that is all.

Well, at least you didn't tell me to pedal faster. :P
