Metcalf, Santa Clara PAL, West Valley,Turner, Calabazas

Today has been so frustrating for me. Ugg. I can not find my phone. I packed all the crap up to go dirt biking. Get to Metcalf and they are having a race and a million people are there. Fuck. So i turn around and go back home. it sucked so bad. on the way home i realized i can go to the bmx track. get home unpack everything. what a pain. get all my biking gear and go to the bmx track. i had fun there. didn't do much but it was still fun and the track was smooth. left there and stopped by west valley. nothing there really. a few small jumps. went to my moms house and worked on the turner chainguide. so frustrating. ugg. i worked on it for a couple hours and got no where. i just need to spend the money on a new different one. then i went to work to see if my phone was there. it wasn't. damn. went over to calabazas and messed around there. it pretty much sucks right now. i did find a cool line of hitting the middle berm, hitting the jump and then hitting the table top banzai. then i rode around the street and decided just to go home.

frustrated at times and happy at times. up and down all day. feel fine right now.

Fun Spot,Derby Skatepark, Polo Grounds, Maywood

I went over to the Fun Spot in Santa Cruz. A bunch of bmxers there so i kept driving. Rode my bike over to Derby Skatepark. Kind of a pain to find and what a disappointment. I was bored before even hitting it. I left in about 2 minutes. Went back to my truck and was leaving and told my self if there is a parking spot before the Fun Spot I will stop. Last parking lot and a car left so I has to take it. It was busy because there were some waves and the weather wasn't too crappy. I rode over to the spot and watched for awhile. Probably 15 bmxers. All in girl pants, most with tatoos and most without helmets. Not very inviting. I eventually went in. Intimidated. An older guy like me on a p3 rode in and I pretty much followed a minute later. He hit the 2 box jumps and berm. I maualled over it. and then half assed it the next time. some bmxer said that was pretty good you almost got the front tire over. Oh gawd this sucks. sigh. after awhile i would try it again and again. finally i was able to do it but it wasn't much fun because there were so many bmxers and some would leave but more would come. Finally I just left.

I went over to the Polo Grounds and no one was there. I jumped the 4 pack. and even hit the big jump. It began to get windy so I left. I would have liked to stay and hit that big jump some more. There was some water after the 2nd jump so i didn't want to try it.

Left there and went to my moms and washed my truck for the first time. started my dirt bike rode it in the court and it stalled. can't get it started. damn. push it back. work on my planet x headset. then look at my dirt bike and hmm i think i have the gas off? try it again and it starts. let it idle for a bit and then rode it up the street. i do not feel comfortable yet.

went to Maywood. what a sad sight. trash everywhere and the jumps all suck. beat up and half assed built or rebuilt.

came home to elizabeths and read for a bit nad then got online.

pretty good day. ups and downs. not really down but more bored and not bored.

Tired

I feel tired. I slept a lot. It is almost 3 and the weather sucks. I am not really bored but...just feel worn out.

SEA OTTER

I got some fox shorts and 2 pairs of Vans at the outlet on wed. Had to wait for a too long time in the preregistered line in the cold and wind. got one plate instead of two for the hardtail and sport dh.

thursday- watched pro dh practice which was rad. rode dh with elizabeth on the cheeta with one v brake. it sucked on the cheeta. long line to get in the shuttle.course was rough from last year. went back and got the turner for the sport practice. just rode the top mostly and did the jumps several times. chain came off again. ugh! rode to the bottom. pretty fun on the turner. long long line to get in the van. i rode and pushed to the top. i think i did this on the cheeta also?
went over to the bikeskills.com ride area. FREE. yeah. they had two pump tracks and some table tops and other stuff. it was really fun. voreis, tara llanes, lee were there too. legs were tired.

friday- rode dh on the cheeta. it sucked. e went and got my turner i rode the turner a little bit and then went over to the bmx track and rode that on the cheeta. it was super rough. went got the planet x. that was better. got some photos. rode the pump track.

saturday-RAIN. not raining in the morning. get there and it looks all right. trying to find start time is a complete mess. sea otter sucks. go back to car. get more stuff. go back to car and get rain jacket because it was sprinkling. get to top and wait a little. it gets cold. it rains. rains more. e shows up. rain gets bad she leaves. it gets windy and pouring. this sucks. wait. wait wait. finally after freezing i start. zero nervousness. ride to the first turn chain comes off. fuck. coast over the jumps. coast around the turn coast more it is raining. pass bobby mcmullen who crashed in the rocks. i am going really slow. push with one foot up the hill hit the two berms go around the log drop. go pretty good down the hill can't see that great. coast up pretty far and then run with my bike the rest. go down the super bumpy hill and down to the road. look down and my chain is on. so i pedal. yeah pedaling. finish the course not tired at all. wait. wait. wait. not posting results. get in van. wait. wait. wait. get to the top and get my bag and look for e in the parking lot. don't see her. call her. she is in the motel. i go to my truck. it isn't raining now. get changed. feel much better. not sure what to do but decide to go back to motel.

sunday- go watch pros-okay should have left though. same thing over and over. went to the bmx track races over go watch the dirt jump contest pretty boring with all the wind. go back to bmx track and they are racing again??? my name is not on the list ask the guy no help. i leave dissappointed. go ride the slalom course. have fun. it is cold and windy.
go watch 24 SOLO which was cool thing to do.

monday-go to polo grounds and jump the outside jump and have fun. go to post office and some pros are hanging around. i drive by too intimadated to stop. eventually drive back and park. more pros arrive and more and more. i can't leave if i wanted to because there are cars parked behind mine. carter holland, voreis, porter, ebbert, haderer, sven martin, neethling, mccaul, mcaul, revelles, goldman, watts, waddell, guy marsh and a bunch of others were there. 30 pros jumping. best thing ever. so fun. i stayed from noon until 8 when it got dark and they had to stop. it got windy and cold.

tuesday-worked

wednesday- went back to aptos. post office deserted and quiet. jumps are big. i jump some little table top things. go to polo. king of motocross was there. some 5 year old kid. okay time kind of bored though. drive to sc to look for rr track jumps. dont find em. go by the skatepark by the pier. it is now a bikes only park!!! not opened yet though.

having a lot of small headaches for the past week or so. it is annoying. feeling tired also.

Santa Clara PAL BMX

Went there after work today. I had fun. I was on my cheeta and didn't jump anything but still had fun. I jb welded the derailleur hanger on the other day and seemed to have worked. I bought a t-shirt too. There was little wind which was nice.

I ordered some bike racks from rackattack. And some bars, gloves, knee pads from bluesky. Neither have been sent. Emails have been sent. No reply yet. Guess I will have to call. Frustrating.

My right toe hurts a lttle bit.

Dirt Biking CCCX DH sea otter bmx poison oak

I had friday off and went riding at metcalf with isaac and his son. Elizabeth took some photos and video. I managed to spill gas all over the tank, seat and engine. I stalled it on the hill in the beginner oval. I got smoked by a 6 year old on a xr 50. I can't brake worth anything. I can't catch any air ( i tried once and it was pretty unnerving). I can't wait to ride again but i will have to for awhile.

I went to Carlmont with Elizabeth on a wednesday. It took awhile and I wasn't to sure of myself but I went off the Isaac drop. It wasn't too bad but it isn't something I am comfortable with at all. But I am really glad I did it.

We went to monterey on friday after metcalf and on saturday e raced xc. I rode the second lap and it pretty muched sucked. She stopped on lap two and we hung out and then pushed up for awhile and did the dh course. It was really fun going down. I went up again a bit later and the push up sucked even more but the ride down was just as fun.
Sunday we got ther after 11 and found out registration was already closed. I was not going to race but e might have? I did the course in 4 20 and 408 she did it in 820. I would have gotten top 3 in sport or bottom in expert probably.
after that we went to laguna seca and walked down the dh course. some ghetto bridge and two ticks later we went to the showers. bmx course was already built. looks pretty decent.

i got poison oak. it sucks!!!!
