BRAND NEW TRUCK.

yeah so I just spent over 17,000 for a truck. 17 grand. oh brother. I feel sick

my brother just called me back and cheered me up. just reaffirmed my good thoughts on the truck. now i have to go to aaa and get some insurance. yuck.

Drove the Pilot today.

So much fun!!! I had the biggest grin on my face. I couldn't believe it. That thing is fast. Scary but exhilerating. Dumb brother doesn't know how to video tape me. I realllly would have liked to have that on video. I got some of my brother being my brother.

MAYWOOD

Rainy day so I went to Maywood and fixed the first lip, the back berm and built a roller. Kids suck. Stoner loser kids ruining the berm. Stupid little groms rolling up the lip of a freshly wet lip. Building jumps sucks. Also filled in the landing area on the banzai jump.

METCALF

Rode the nomad up to Metcalf motorcycle park. It was really hard going up that hill. whoo. I was riding up and not feeling that great and Isaac drives up in his crappy truck with his yz 250. I feel better and arrive at the park after a few more minutes. Pretty much what I expected. Pretty sure i want the ttr 125l. or maybe nothing at all? I took some pictures of isaac but the batteries went dead. It was getting colder so I left earlier than I would have if i had some more clothing. rain is coming. bummer. probably get the 125l though. fun fun i hope.

PILOT

Jon finally got a Honda Pilot. It is sick as the kids say these days. I need to get a dirt bike now. I was thinking of it for a while and am even more into it now.

Felt sick today.

CCCX XC, LAGUNA SECA, AMGEN TOUR

Saw Elizabeth race at cccx. rode most of the course before the race seemed like it was more uphill than downhill. nothing diffucult though. but grinding i guess? had fun there watching. rode the last lap with elizabeth and she passed some girl at the last corner. she got 1oth out of 12th. we then sat in the back of the 4runner for awhile, it was cold. brrr. then we rode over to the jumps to take a look. same thing. went to the comfort inn and i think i slept for ever. next day we went to laguna seca and walked the bottom of the dh course. it was super beat up from last year. it was bad. then we went to the racecourse and the audi car club was going on the course. we rode some trails and it was sunny and a lot of fun. beautiful time.

AMGEN TOUR- went to downtown san jose to see the tour. it was pretty crowded with a bunch of booths. pretty cool scene. every one seemed to be happy but why not they aren't working on a Wednesday at 2 pm. waited around for longer time that i wanted to watch some roadies ride by. not very exciting at all. after the race i rode down some street that all the tour cars were at and looked at all the road bikes. they sure have it down with being professional.

went to MAYWOOD today- bunch of loser burnout kids smoking on the berm. screw that place.

TRUCK- went to the credit union and capitol toyota-no truck yet. sigh.

Lexington

Rained for a couple of days. Sunny and cloudy today so I put my bike in my truck and drove over to maywood but the water was a bit high so i kept driving trying to think of where i could ride. ended up in los gatos and rode the boring fireroad to the reservoir. some lady was riding up the trail on a recumbent. sigh. lots of walkers and runners and some mt bikers on 90's bikes. It was tough riding. the trail was slow and i was slow. rode up whatever trail which was really steep and i was huffing and puffing. kept going. slowly and rode up whatever that other trail is and was huffing and puffing bad. got to a flat spot and had to stop to rest. it was pretty sad. rode up a bit more and was bored mostly so i turned around and rode back. the trail wouldn't actually be to bad if there weren't people everywhere. I am so out of shape.

I am pretty interested in getting a dirt bike. maybe a 2006 ttr 125l?

I should be getting a new truck soon.

Shells.

I went to Carlmont and rode with Chris for awhile. Nothing to exciting other than I can now ride down that one drop fairly easy.

But to the good stuff. I drove over to Shells for the first time since the rebuild. And rebuild they did. Pretty much everything is bigger. As in too big for me. bummer. But Beavis, Matt V, chipper, mike fleming, jason van horn and a few other random dudes were there. Hitting all these crazy transfers and matt doing some nice supermans off hooters and 360ing the second jump in the main pack.

Superbowl was today. Some team won and the other team lost.
